First You Cut Down a Tree. Then... (Part 3)

"My plan is to return the guitar to the setting where it's wood was harvested"...  People have asked me what I meant with this statement from an earlier entry.   Am I taking the guitar to Shadow Valley camp for a visit, or what?   People have also been asking for details about Shadow Valley.  So in today's entry I'll answer those questions and show some pictures of the camp taken by Jolene, my wife.

In a way, the cedar sitting in my shop is a part of Shadow Valley.  I plan to have the joy of taking it back to it's home permanently after it is a finished instrument. 

This camp was established by my Idaho Walker cousins as a place for their families to gather every year for work, fun, and fellowship.  These gatherings have drawn in family and relatives, like my family.
